Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be located in Texas, eligible for employment in the U.S. and able to commute to work in office daily Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:30.
- If not licensed, must obtain at least 1 Texas General Lines Insurance Producers License.
- Exam study materials & license fee is reimbursable. Bonuses available for passing exams.
- General Lines Producer's Licenses Include: 1) Property & Casualty License and 2) Life & Health License
- Exam study materials & license fee is reimbursable. Bonuses available for passing exams.
- Must be willing to terminate other active insurance carrier appointments.
- Pass a background check required for State Farm appointment (ordered & paid for by Agency).
- Undeterred by rejection or failure - a growth mindset.
- Goal-oriented, competitive and self-motivated.
- Meet or exceed daily & weekly sales activities (calls, quotes, talk-time, product sales).
- Comfortable making 100+ phone calls per day and eager to discuss insurance with prospects for 2+ hours per day.
- Coachable - a desire to learn & follow proven methods.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Make outbound calls, texts & emails to engage new prospects through referrals and community outreach.
- Complete daily sales tasks & actively prospect for additional life, health & financial services opportunities.
- Design personalized insurance solutions through Auto, Home, Life, and Health products.
- Manage your pipeline — track activity daily and hit weekly/monthly goals.
- Note: new hot prospects provided to you daily.
- Participate in team role-plays and training to sharpen your skills continuously
- Actively pursue additional opportunities through referrals & your personal network.
- Prepare detailed prospect notes & reminders within CRM software.
Compensation
- Guaranteed Base Hourly Rate + Monthly Sales Commissions
- Expected annual earnings: $45,500 – $84,000+ depending on production
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor Agent (David Francesangelo) — not State Farm Insurance Companies. Employment terms and benefits are determined by the Agent, not State Farm.
Compensation: $23.00 - $38.50 per hour
